Cambridge Home Health Care Sponsors Habitat Homes

Opening ceremony
March 12, 2001

A home to call their own became a reality on July 1, 2001 for Akron area mother Ann Gaiser and her six year old daughter due to Habitat for Humanity and sponsor Cambridge Home Health Care building a house for them. This was the 87th house built by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Akron since 1987, contributing to over 100,000 homes built worldwide through Habitat.

In 2002, we co-sponsored the building of Akron's 100th Habitat home, in 2003 sponsored the building of the 110th Akron Habitat home, and co-sponsored homes again in 2004 and 2005. Cambridge Home Health Care also constructed a playhouse for a Habitat auction fundraiser in 2005 with the theme "There's No Place Like Home", representing the Kansas farmhouse of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

Cambridge volunteers pitch in to help build:
in a few short weeks from this...
... to this! Habitat's 87th Akron Area Home,
sponsored by Cambridge Home Health Care.
