We are happy to offer four nursing scholarships of $1000 each year.
The year 2008 will be our ninth year to offer such scholarships, and the process/requirements for applying and consideration are these:
- You are currently a home health aide/nurse's aide or LPN who has worked for 2 of the past 3 years in that position.
- You plan to enroll in LPN or RN school for the upcoming Fall 2008 school year or in the year 2009 and are not now currently in LPN or RN school.
- You provide two written positive recommendations from current and/or past employers.
- You are a resident of one of the counties named below.
- You submit a completed application packet by 5/15/2008 to us at : Cambridge Home Health Care, 4085 Embassy Parkway, Akron, OH 44333.
Four scholarships of $1000 each are available to be awarded in the following manner: two scholarships to current employees of Cambridge Home Health Care and two scholarships to non-Cambridge employees who are residents in these counties our Ohio offices serve (Ashland, Athens, Butler, Clark, Clermont, Columbiana, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Delaware, Erie, Franklin, Fulton, Geauga, Greene, Guernsey, Hamilton, Holmes, Huron, Lorain, Lucas, Mahoning, Marion, Medina, Miami, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Morrow, Muskingum, Noble, Ottawa, Perry, Portage, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, Warren, Washington, Wayne, and Wyandot); and who are residents in the following counties our Pennsylvania offices serve (Butler, Lawrence, Mercer).The scholarships are non-renewable (for one school year only).
The selection of recipients will be made by the management team of Cambridge Home Health Care and is to be based on merit, positive work history, the essay, and timely completion of all parts of the application process. Recipients will be notified in July of 2008.
